This web map application displays the extents of Gippsland's historical flood events. Use the legend in the bottom right to toggle on/off flood extent overlays.
Click the live rainfall button to fetch the current precipitation level at Bairnsdale Airport Weather Station. If the current rainfall reading is over 50mm, SA2 Level polygon area overlays will be added to the map canvas to provide a flood threat warning.
